Air Max 1 - Kintsugi

Air Max 1 - Kintsugi. Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, this Air Max 1 celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the individual character of craftsmanship.

The shoe combines nubuck, suede and nappa leather, bringing together a rich variety of textures. Selected leather is used on both sides, revealing the contrast between its smooth surface and soft suede reverse.

Kintsugi invites us to appreciate imperfections as part of an object’s story. The same spirit runs through our craft: small irregularities carry traces of the maker, giving each creation its own identity.

This philosophy takes shape through details on the mudguard, Swoosh, U-throat and heel embroidery. Each shoe receives its own unique imperfections, making every pair an individual expression of the hands that made it.
